The current educational landscape demands that students acquire digital and media literacy skills and also develop skills such as extracting main ideas, locating relevant information, analyzing, and synthesizing, etc. In a visually dominated era, it is essential that students know how to locate, understand, and evaluate content. Our application addresses this need effectively and creatively.
One of the most outstanding aspects of Böxie is its ability to automatically generate auto graded assignments. Students watch the video or PDF and answer questions posed by the AI, without the need for direct teacher intervention. The artificial intelligence itself generates and evaluates these assignments, relieving the teacher’s workload. In addition, it provides immediate feedback, allowing students to effectively and autonomously improve their understanding, and teachers to receive detailed reports on individual performance and individual or group statistics.
Böxie offers two types of autograded activities to enrich learning in both video and PDF formats: ‘write your answer’ assignments and underline assignments. In writing assignments, students answer open-ended questions using natural language, and the artificial intelligence is responsible for evaluating and providing personalized feedback, freeing the teacher from this assignment. In underline assignments, students test their understanding by underlining the correct answer from four options generated by AI, either in a PDF document or in an interactive video.
